Blöndal Städa Malaysia – Industrial & Commercial Cleaning Equipment

Städa is a Swedish verb and means “TO CLEAN”
The people at Städa are devoted to make Homes, Commercial buildings and Industry more hygienic, healthy and productive by being the leading provider of high quality and cost effective cleaning equipment, machines and systems.

Our story began with humble beginnings in 1912, when Axel Wenner-Gren developed the world’s first vacuum cleaner, and approached Lux to sell his product in the German market. In no time, it became a roaring success and further models were developed as Lux began to venture into mass production.

In less than one year, these vacuum cleaners became so popular not only in Germany, but also in France and England, with Lux facing difficulties to keep up with the increasing demand. By 1919, Wenner-Gren became the CEO of Lux, and within the decade, his products could be found in households worldwide as part of the successful Electrolux Group.

It is from this initial global expansion that Blöndal Städa was formed. Formerly the professional division of Electrolux Malaysia, the company was first established in 1973 to provide the Malaysian market with high quality cleaning equipment and products.

Today we are an independent entity that serves clients across the country, with several branches nationwide and an extensive catalogue to cater for every need!
